The PowerBass PB850.5 is built to deliver full range performance with authority. This compact 5 channel Class D amplifier puts an entire system under one hood. Four channels push 65W RMS each at 4 ohms or 100W RMS each at 2 ohms. The dedicated subwoofer channel drives 300W RMS at 4 ohms or 450W RMS at 2 ohms. Total peak power reaches 1700W. This amp is engineered for clarity and strength with a frequency response from 10Hz to 50kHz and a signal to noise ratio over 100dB. Distortion is kept low at only 0.3 percent at rated power. The PB850.5 gives you complete tuning control. Select variable high pass and low pass crossovers to shape your sound. Boost your bass with adjustable EQ at 0 6 or 12dB at 45Hz. A variable subsonic filter on channel 5 keeps your low end tight and accurate. Remote level control capability lets you command the sub output from your dash. Durability and efficiency are built in. The compact aluminum chassis uses dual layer circuit boards and a high density heatsink to stay cool under pressure. Protection circuits guard against overloads thermal events shorts and DC output.
