GM Chime Interface 2000-2005

Product Details

The AXDI data interface is a reliable integration solution engineered to preserve essential factory vehicle features during a radio replacement. It retains key safety and convenience functions such as blind spot alerts and factory chimes when equipped while maintaining RAP retained accessory power for consistent factory level operation. Designed for non amplified systems or factory amplifier bypass applications the interface delivers stable 12 volt 10 amp accessory power along with critical NAV outputs including parking brake reverse and speed sense. Balance and fade control are fully retained to ensure proper audio distribution with support for high level speaker input. The system is intended for vehicles without OnStar retention and preserves all warning chimes through an onboard speaker to maintain original driver alerts. The unit is not pre wired for AXSWC and requires a separate steering wheel control interface when steering wheel control retention is desired. Firmware updates are fast and simple via a USB Micro B connection to support long term compatibility. Always verify vehicle application using the Vehicle Fit Guide as compatibility depends on specific vehicle requirements.
